TokScript is a web-based transcription tool that converts public videos from TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels into editable transcripts. Users paste a video link and receive a transcript with timestamps that can be reviewed and corrected.
The tool exports transcripts in three formats: SRT for video editors, VTT for web captions, and plain TXT for documents. It uses existing captions when available or applies AI speech recognition for audio without captions. All text edits preserve the original timecodes.
Up to 5 minutes of transcription is free without signup or daily limits. Longer videos up to 2 hours require credits purchased as one-time time packs. Both paid plans unlock unlimited subtitle translation into any chosen language, though translation does not consume transcription minutes.
Transcripts are kept temporarily: anonymous results for 24 hours in the original browser, or for 7 days (free) to 30 days (paid) in user history after sign-in.

Do time packs renew automatically?
