Launch It Online for developers: API and MCP stockroom
Launch It Online can be driven from your own code or from an AI assistant. You can search every launch, read the leaderboards and founder stories, submit a product from its website address, edit your listing and fetch a checkout link for a paid launch. The REST API and the MCP server offer the same actions under the same rules.

Using an AI assistant
Point your MCP client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and others) at https://launchitonline.com/mcp, as a custom connector or MCP server. Try “What launched this week in my category?”, “Find alternatives to my competitor” or “Launch my product https://example.com”. You can read straight away, and the first time you change something a browser opens so you can connect your account. Step-by-step for each app.

Rules that always apply
- Ask list_products for prices. They match the pricing of Launch It Online, are counted in US dollar cents, and leave VAT out.
- Anything bought, such as the billboard or a sponsorship, carries a label saying it is paid. The community rankings use votes and nothing else.
- Your code cannot vote. The API and the MCP server leave voting to people on Launch It Online, who are the only source of votes.
- AI drafts show their evidence from the product's own website. Missing facts are marked and left blank, and the AI never makes anything up.
- Card details never pass through the API. Payment takes place on a checkout page that the person opens and completes themselves.
Questions
- Does the AI assistant get to vote or pay for me?
- No to both. Only people on the site vote, and payment is made by you, on a checkout page you open from the link the API returns.
- Does the AI ever make facts up about my product?
- The AI is built not to. It uses only what is on your own website, anything it cannot verify there stays blank and marked, and you review and can change every field before anything goes live.
- Can I reach Launch It Online from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code?
- Yes. Add the MCP server URL as a custom connector or MCP server in your app. Reading works straight away; the first write opens a browser so you can connect your account.
- Is anything charged for this?
- The API and the MCP server are free: there is no charge within the published rate limits. What you buy, such as a paid launch, is priced on the pricing page.
- Is there a developer API on Launch It Online?
- Launch It Online offers a free REST API at /api/v1, described in OpenAPI, and a remote MCP server at /mcp. You can read public data without signing in. Anything on your own listings needs your account, via OAuth or an API key.
