Spectro is a native macOS application that detects fake lossless audio files by performing full FFT spectral analysis on each track. It identifies MP3s and AACs that have been re-encoded and saved as WAV, AIFF, FLAC or ALAC files, which carry the frequency loss of their original lossy source despite their lossless container.
