Unmix Studio
AI stem splitter that separates songs into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other instruments
An online AI tool that splits songs into individual instrument stems and vocal parts, allowing users to listen to and download each part separately as MP3
About this launch

Unmix Studio is a web-based AI stem splitter that uploads songs to the cloud and separates them into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other instruments. Users can further split any part—such as drums into kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, ride and crash, or vocals into lead and backing—and download each stem as a 320 kbps MP3. The tool supports MP3, WAV, M4A and FLAC files up to 10 minutes long and processes most songs in 1 to 3 minutes. It is also used to remove vocals for instrumentals and karaoke tracks, and to convert audio to MIDI in the browser for free. The separation uses established open-source AI models and does not train on user songs.

Shopper questions
Is the stem splitter free?
You can try it free with 5 credits when you sign in with Google without a card. The six-part split costs 1 credit per minute of song, so the free credits cover one song up to 5 minutes. Credit packs start at $7.49 for 100 credits, which is about $0.30 for a 4-minute song, and credits never expire.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Unmix Studio is an online stem splitter that works in your web browser with the splitting running on servers. You do need a free account with Google sign-in to split a song.
Where is my song processed?
Your song is uploaded to storage and split in the cloud, not on your computer. Songs and their parts are kept in your account for 30 days, then deleted, and songs are not used to train AI models.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 to 3 minutes for a song. You can leave the page open in another tab and if you close it, the split carries on and shows up when you come back.
Can I use the stems in my own music?
The tool does not change who owns the song. Stems from your own recordings are yours to use, but for someone else's song you need the rights holder's permission to publish anything made from it.
