Social Undertone reads public comments from a creator's Instagram and TikTok posts and generates detailed audience analysis reports. The service scores audience sentiment, credibility, authenticity, recommendation power, and brand safety without requiring creator login credentials.

Users can access free reports containing scores, summaries and approximately 300 comments from the last 30 days, or purchase full reports that analyze up to 3,000 comments from the last 90 days and include information about audience questions, purchase interests, and brand mentions. Reports can be shared via link or PDF and include every comment labeled by topic and sentiment.

Social Undertone serves both brands evaluating creators before partnerships and creators building audience proof for media kits and pitches. The service operates on a pay-per-report model with no subscription required.

Shopper questions

Where does the data come from?

Public comments on the creator's recent Instagram and TikTok posts. Social Undertone never needs the creator's login credentials.

What is the difference between free and full reports?

Free reports give scores, summary and about 300 comments from the last 30 days. Full reports read up to 3,000 comments from the last 90 days and include what the audience asks about, wants to buy and names.

Can creators run a report on themselves?

Yes. Creators can run reports on their own handles, enable a share link and add it to their media kit or pitch. Brands see the same report the creator does.

Who can see my reports?

Only you, unless you enable a report's share link. Anyone with that link can view that one report in read-only mode, and you can turn off the link at any time.

Does the creator know when I run a report?

No. Social Undertone only reads public comments and nobody is notified when a report is run.
