Skreno is a screen recording tool that runs entirely in your browser with no installation required. It captures your screen, camera, and microphone, and automatically generates transcripts, AI summaries, and timestamped comments for every recording. The Chrome extension additionally captures console and network logs, which Skreno's AI uses to generate bug reports.

Every recording gets a shareable link that is live instantly upon completion. Skreno Studio, a built-in editor included with every plan, lets you trim, add captions, blur sensitive areas, and export recordings up to 4K directly from your browser without a render queue. The platform supports recording Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls, automatically creating transcripts and summaries for those as well.

Additional features include step-by-step guide generation from screen activity, video testimonial collection, an SDK for embedding bug reporting in your own applications, and an AI assistant integration via MCP protocol. Team collaboration is supported with shared libraries and role-based access.

Yes. Free is a plan, not a trial. You keep 30 recordings in total, not 30 a month, at up to 720p and 15 minutes each. No credit card needed.

Do my recordings expire?

No. Recordings are kept for as long as your account is open, on every plan. Screenshots on free are kept for 30 days. You can download the original file anytime.

Is Skreno Studio free?

Yes. The editor opens on every plan and downloads are unlimited, up to 4K. Find zooms and blur need Pro. Drawing on the video needs Max. Studio runs in Chrome and Edge today.

How does meeting recording work?

Paste the meeting link and a Skreno notetaker joins as a visible participant. You get the recording, transcript and AI summary in your library. Pro records 20 calls a month, Max 35, each up to 3 hours.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your dashboard. You drop back to free and your recordings stay accessible.
