ProofOkay is proof approval software for print shops, sign shops and designers. Upload a file, enter its final print size, and send a link to your customer. They open the real native file on a phone or computer, zoom in as far as they need, and see a print check that flags issues before anyone approves.
Customers choose to approve, approve with changes, or request changes. They tick boxes you set up (spelling, size, colors, or your own) and type their name. You get their answer, the boxes, their name and the time, linked to the exact version they saw. The software supports PDF, Illustrator, EPS, Photoshop, TIFF, JPEG and PNG files up to 300 MB, with uploads that resume if interrupted.
The print check looks at file size, image sharpness at final print size, whether artwork is vector, CMYK or RGB color setup, bleed past the cut, and whether fonts are included. It flags problems without changing the file. Proofs stay in one list showing status and who is waiting on whom. Reminders go out on your schedule, new versions start fresh, and messages stay threaded with each proof. Your shop's name and logo appear on every proof, and you can customize the email and approval boxes in your own words.

Do my customers need an account?
No. They open the link you send and answer right there on a phone or computer. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to install.
Which files can customers zoom into?
PDF, Illustrator files saved as PDF compatible, EPS, Photoshop files saved with Maximize Compatibility, TIFF, plus very large JPEG and PNG files. After upload, files open as a zoomable preview that stays sharp, even for full size banners. A PDF with several pages shows its first page and the original file stays attached to download.
How big a file can I upload?
Up to 300 MB. Big files go up in pieces, so if the connection drops partway, the upload carries on from where it stopped.
What does the print check look at?
Whether the file is the size you entered, how sharp its images are at that size, whether it's vector, whether it's set up in CMYK or RGB, whether it has bleed past the cut, and whether its fonts are included. It flags problems but doesn't change anyone's file. You set the sharpness and bleed you want in Settings.
What does it cost?
