Notch Radio
Internet radio player for macOS that lives in your Mac's notch
A macOS app that puts an internet radio player in your Mac's notch, showing real track titles and per-song album art from thousands of community-maintained
About this launch
Notch Radio is a native macOS app that places an internet radio player inside your Mac's notch. The player displays live track titles and per-song album art fetched to match each song, with access to thousands of stations from the Radio Browser community directory.
The app works on any Mac, with or without a notch. On devices without a notch, it can draw its own or move entirely to the menu bar. It integrates with macOS media keys and Now Playing, supports filtering stations by country, and lets you save favorite stations to your library.
Notch Radio is free forever for basic use with a 5-station limit and a 14-day trial of all features. A one-time $19.99 unlock removes the station limit, enables live track titles and album art, and adds URL import and multi-display support.

Shopper questions
Is Notch Radio really free forever?
Yes. Radio plays free with no time limit, no account and no lock screen. The free tier keeps 5 stations and plays anything in the directory while you have room to save.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
Nothing stops playing. Live track titles and per-song artwork stop appearing, and the notch-or-menu-bar picker greys out, but everything you saved during the trial stays and keeps playing.
Is the $19.99 a subscription?
No. It is one payment that does not renew and has nothing to cancel. It unlocks Notch Radio on every Mac signed in to your Apple ID.
Do I need a Mac with a notch?
No. On a Mac without one, Notch Radio draws its own notch, or you can move the whole player into the menu bar instead. It needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Where do the stations come from?
From Radio Browser, the community directory that listeners maintain. The app ships no stations at all, so your library holds only what you chose to keep, and the audio comes straight from the broadcaster.
Notch Radio has a free listing. The owner can unlock the full profile with a paid launch for $5:
