Your founder profile, and when a free listing waits for it
What goes in your founder profile, why a free listing waits for it, and why a paid launch does not.

Introduce yourself to shoppers
Your founder profile lives at /account/founder. It asks for a photo with a one-line description of the photo, your full name, your title or role, your country, a short bio of at least 80 characters, and at least one personal link: your own website or a personal social profile, not a company page. Your city and a link to a founder story are optional.
Free listings wait for it
A free listing opens its doors only when two things are true: our badge has been verified on your website, and your founder profile is complete. Until then it waits. Nothing is lost. As soon as the missing part is done, it is released by itself. If its queue week has gone by, it opens in the next free-queue week and we tell you.
Paid launches do not wait
A paid launch goes live at once, or in the week you chose, even if the profile is not finished. The same goes for a relaunch, the multi-site bundle, the done-for-you listing, and a free listing once it has been upgraded to a paid launch. We still invite you to complete the profile, because shoppers see it on your listing.
Co-founders
Invite co-founders from the Team section of /account/founder. Each one appears on the product when their own profile is complete.
Questions people ask
- Why is my free listing not live yet?
- A free listing needs our badge verified on your website and a complete founder profile. When both are done it is released automatically.
- I paid for a launch. Do I have to finish the profile first?
- No. A paid launch goes live at once or in its chosen week. Completing the profile is invited, not required.
- What counts as a personal link?
- Your own website or a personal social profile. Company pages do not count.
