Claim your shop
Head to your listing and tap "Claim", or go straight to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's domain—pick whichever method suits you best.
Pick your verification method
- Email link: We send a secret link to any address at your company's domain. Click it to verify.
- DNS record: Add a TXT record to your root domain's DNS settings.
- Homepage meta tag: Paste a meta tag into your site's homepage code.
- Verification file: Upload a small file to your website.
Your verification code is good for 14 days. If it expires before you finish, just start the claim again.
What the Verified badge means
Once you're verified, you become the listing owner. You can edit everything about your shop's page here, and you'll see the Verified badge next to your name. That badge tells shoppers you really do control the domain—it's never for sale, and it sits completely apart from any paid placements or votes your listing picks up.
Questions people ask
- Can I verify my listing using different methods?
- No, choose one method that works for you. We'll guide you through whichever you pick—email, DNS, meta tag, or file upload.
- What if my verification code runs out?
- Verification codes last 14 days. If yours expires, simply start the claim process again.
- Does the Verified badge help me sell more?
- The badge shows shoppers you control your domain. It's separate from paid placement and votes, so it won't directly boost your listing's position—but it does build trust.
