About this launch

Chartory provides a library of over 100 chart types designed for both Figma and React. Each chart type is available in four sizes (XS, S, M, L) that re-layout based on container width rather than scaling, with light and dark color modes. The same chart has identical names and properties in both the Figma design file and React code.

Charts are organized by the questions they answer: change over time, compare items, part of a whole, distribution, flow between steps, relationship, schedule and status, and space and place. The library includes 900+ size and legend variants, working widgets with headers and footers, and ready-made blocks and dashboard compositions.

Chartory is self-funded and created by one person. It ships with sector-specific datasets for AI, SaaS, fintech, crypto, logistics and e-commerce. Updates are included with purchase at no additional cost.

Shopper questions

Do I pay again next year?

No. You pay once and get every update for the parts in your tier, for as long as Chartory exists. There is no subscription.

Is there a free version?

Yes: 100 chart types are free as React components in the Hearth collection, from the public registry under MIT license. The Signal collection, widgets, overlays and the Figma file come with a license.

Can my whole team use it?

A team license is next on the roadmap: one Complete license for a whole team.

Do I need shadcn?

The install runs through the shadcn CLI where @chartory is listed in the shadcn registry directory. Paid items come from the same registry with your token. You can also take the code from your private GitHub repository.

What happens when resizing a chart in a small card?

The chart re-lays out at S or XS: bars, gaps and value labels are laid out again for the width, and the text keeps its size.
