Studio is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that makes audio on your computer in 5 languages and can give each character its own voice.

Which files work?
EPUB, PDF, DOCX, TXT and MD files are supported.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The page opens your file and makes the audio in your browser. Your text and audio never leave your computer. When the conversion is finished, you can download the audio file to your computer.
How long does a whole book take?
You can start listening within a minute or two while the website makes the rest. You can download each chapter as soon as it is made. A typical novel is about 10 hours of audio and how long the whole book takes depends on your computer.
What audio files do I get?
Free provides an MP3 file for each chapter. Pro provides one M4B audiobook with chapters and a cover, or all chapters as MP3 files in one ZIP.
