How the Product review works
The paid Product review is a commissioned write-up of your product on its own page, written from your website after you pay.

What you get
The Product review ($19) gives your product a dedicated page here at /launch/<listing>/product-review. It is a thorough, honest write-up—not marketing material. You commission it by paying; you cannot edit it afterwards.
How we write it
Once you have paid, we read your public website fresh: your home page, and any pages you have on about, pricing, features, FAQ or documentation. We write the review from what we find there and your listing only. We invent nothing. Where your pages stay silent on something shoppers care about, the review says so plainly.
Because it is honest, it covers both strengths and gaps. The write-up includes:

- Several topic sections
- Pros and cons
- Who it suits best
- A check of what your pages tell visitors about what it does, who it serves, pricing, getting started, trust and security, and how to reach you
- Questions buyers often ask
- A conclusion
- The sources we used
There is no star rating.
Where it appears
Your full review lives on its own page. On your listing, a short excerpt shows in its own box marked 'Commissioned by the maker', with a link through to the whole thing. The listing's reviews page shows the summary and top points. It always sits separate from reviews written by other founders.
What does not change
The review never affects your votes, ratings or standing on this site. It adds no vote and moves no leaderboard. Rankings here come from votes only (or, on the billboard, from money put in)—never from reviews.
When to order
Add it when you pick a paid launch, or later on. To order for a listing you have: sign in, go to /account/listings, find 'Upgrades and extras' for that listing and select 'Order the Product review'. See /pricing for the current cost.

Questions people ask
- Can I change the review after you publish it?
- No. The review is commissioned and written once. You cannot edit it after payment.
- Will the review help me rank higher?
- No. Reviews—ours or anyone else's—do not affect rankings on Launch It Online. Rankings come from votes only, or on the billboard from money contributed.
- What if my website is down when you try to read it?
- We attempt to read your site several times. If it stays unreachable, the review is held for our team to look at. If they write it from your listing alone, the review will say so clearly.
