How does the founder feature work?

Commission a paid, editor-reviewed article about your founder story, featured on our founders page and newsletter.

Updated

Tell your story, we write it up

The Editorial founder feature ($29) is a proper article about you as a founder. We write it from your own story, your founder profile and what's on your listing—nothing invented. One of our editors reviews and polishes it before it goes live, so it reads well and rings true.

What happens next

Once it's published, your feature gets the "Editor's feature" badge on this site. It appears on our /founders page where people browse founder stories, and goes into our newsletter too. We email you the link so you can share it.

The timeline

Here's how the process unfolds:

  • Ordered: you'll get an email with the date to expect it, 3 working days after payment
  • In review: we let you know when an editor picks it up
  • Published: we send you the link by email

Make it better

The more detail you give us, the richer your feature will be. You can add to your founder story at /account/founder/story any time before it's published—right up until we send it live.

Where to order

The founder feature is offered when you submit a listing at /submit. Check the current price on our Pricing page at /pricing.

Questions people ask

Can I change my founder story after ordering the feature?
Yes. You can add to your founder story at /account/founder/story any time before publication. The editor will see your updates and may work them in.
What if I don't want something in the article?
We only write from your own story, profile and listing facts. Nothing is made up. If it's not there, it won't be in the article.
When will my feature be live?
As soon as you pay, we email you the date it is due: 3 working days after payment. You'll get another email with the link once it's published.
