Entering a promo code
If you've got a code, head to /cart and look for 'Have a code?' — pop it in there and press 'Apply code'. You'll see the discount straight away in your cart, and it's shown again at checkout. If you change your mind, you can remove it in the cart.
What a code takes off
Codes work in two ways: they're either a percentage off or a fixed amount off. Either way, the discount comes off before VAT is added. That means VAT (where it applies) is worked out on the lower price.
A code might only work on certain products, or it might have a limited number of uses or an expiry date. If your code doesn't fit what's in your cart, the cart will let you know.
One thing to watch: billboard contributions can't be discounted, because the ranking depends on the money you put in. And if an item already has a gift or offer on it, a code won't stack on top — it's one or the other.
Gifts and offers from us
Our team sometimes gives you a product free or at a reduced price. You'll get an email with a link, and once you sign in, it'll show up at /account/gifts too.
A free gift gets added straight to whichever listing you choose with 'Use it on', and it works just like you'd bought it. A reduced-price offer goes through the normal cart and checkout, and you'll pay what we've set, plus VAT where due.
Some gifts have an expiry date shown next to them. If you haven't added your product yet, pop over to /submit first, then come back.
Questions people ask
- Where do I type in my code?
- Go to /cart and find the 'Have a code?' box. Enter your code there and tap 'Apply code'.
- Can I use a code and a gift at the same time?
- No — if something already has a gift or offer, you can't add a code on top of it.
- What if my code doesn't work?
- Your cart will tell you why — it might not apply to those products, or it could be out of uses or past its date.
