Shopper questions

Are these tools really free and do they store my text or video files?

Yes, 100% free with no account registration required. All processing runs locally in your web browser and your files are never transmitted to an external server or stored anywhere.

Why doesn't Instagram or LinkedIn let me add clean blank lines?

Both Instagram and LinkedIn historically collapse consecutive empty lines or strip whitespace characters when published from standard text fields. The Social Media Kit's formatting tools replace fragile line breaks with invisible, non-collapsing Unicode separators to keep your paragraph spacing readable.

Who created The Social Media Kit?

The Social Media Kit is an independent project created and maintained by Junior (juniorxk), a web developer and creator who built it to provide free, privacy-first tools without paywalls, ad clutter, or data collection for creators worldwide.

Why do social media apps cut off my post text with '...see more'?

On mobile devices, apps like LinkedIn truncate text at around 140 characters, while desktop displays roughly 210 characters. Instagram, Threads, and X also enforce strict visual line limits. If your primary hook is pushed below the fold, readers scroll past without expanding. Our previewers simulate exact mobile cutoffs so you can hook your audience before the click.

What are vertical video safe zones and why do they matter?

When you upload vertical 9:16 videos on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts, platform interface elements (like like buttons, comments, captions, sound titles, and profile links) overlay the edges of the video. If your subtitles or titles fall inside these danger zones, viewers can't read them. Our safe-zone visualizers overlay the real interface graphics so you keep your critical content visible.
