It provides a REST API, hosted OAuth MCP connector, and local MCP gateway to create, schedule, and publish posts across multiple social platforms including Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Bluesky, Pinterest, Reddit, Discord, YouTube, and Email. Users connect their own eligible accounts and can publish through the dashboard, their AI agent, or their application without building platform-specific integrations. The Pro plan adds support for comments, replies, and messages on Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts.

What is Social Fanout?
Social Fanout is a hosted REST API and hosted OAuth MCP connector for social publishing across connected, approved social destinations. It also provides a local stdio MCP gateway as an API-key alternative.
Can AI agents use Social Fanout?
Yes. Compatible AI clients can connect to the hosted OAuth endpoint at https://socialfanout.com/mcp with per-user OAuth. Agents can also use the REST API directly, run the local stdio MCP package, or use a private GPT Action where available.
Can ChatGPT publish through Social Fanout?
Yes. The hosted OAuth MCP endpoint is the submission target for the shared ChatGPT/Codex directory. As an alternative, you can import the Social Fanout Action schema into a custom GPT and configure a customer-owned Social Fanout key as Bearer authentication, which calls the REST API.
What counts as a publish?
One publish is one attempted post to one destination platform. Plans cap monthly publish attempts, and the 7-day trial allows up to 300 in total. Posting the same update to multiple platforms counts as multiple publishes.
Which social platforms are supported?
Social Fanout supports Bluesky, Discord, Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn (member and Pages), Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, and Email. Actual availability depends on provider approval, account permissions, and OAuth scopes.
