Recto is a visual design canvas that integrates with coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. You describe what you want to create, watch your agent build it on a real canvas, and edit anything directly or reprompt for changes—all without leaving Recto.
The tool works locally on your computer with no MCP setup or API configuration needed. Every design is built on HTML and CSS underneath, making it easy to export and use outside Recto. You can create interfaces, websites, animations, SVG graphics and 3D elements, all while maintaining a unified design system that your agent reads before designing.
