Phonable is a smarter voicemail app for iPhone that replaces your carrier voicemail. When you miss a call, callers hear your greeting and automatically receive a text back. If they leave a message, you get a full transcript and AI summary within seconds, without needing to dial in. You keep your own phone number and SIM card—Phonable only handles missed calls through conditional call forwarding. The app offers switchable modes for different situations like meetings, driving, or weekends, with AI voice greetings available so you can type your greeting instead of recording it.

Do I need a new number or SIM card?
No. You keep your own number, SIM and phone. Phonable only handles the calls you don't answer through call forwarding, so people still dial your normal number.
What happens when I answer a call?
Nothing changes. The call connects as usual and Phonable isn't involved.
Do callers get a text even if they don't leave a voicemail?
Yes. The text goes out after a missed call whether or not the caller leaves a message. Each caller gets at most one text per hour, and texts aren't sent to landlines or unsupported countries.
Do I have to record a greeting?
No. You can record your own or type what you want to say and let a natural AI voice speak it for you.
What does it cost?
You can start for free with Test Drive. Basic and Pro add more voicemails and texts, more modes and scheduled mode switching. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and you can cancel anytime.
