The software understands around 100 languages and includes AI clean-up of your dictation. It works with any app on your Mac where you can normally type, from editors and browsers to chat and email applications.
The product runs on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 26 or later. Shepit offers three plans: a Free plan with 30 minutes of dictation per month, a Basic plan with 10 hours per month, and a Pro plan with unlimited dictation subject to fair use (about 120 hours per month for one person).

How much dictation time do I get on each plan?

Can I cancel my plan anytime?
Yes, you can cancel from your account page. Your plan continues working until the end of the period you paid for, then you revert to the Free plan with no further charges.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account and data deletion anytime through the contact form on shepit.app using the Delete my account or data topic. If you cannot sign in, email hello@shepit.app from your account address. Deletion happens within 30 days, usually within a few working days.
What does fair use mean for the Pro plan?
Fair use for Pro is about 120 hours of dictation per month for one user, or about 4 hours per calendar day. If you exceed 150 hours in a billing period, Pro stops accepting dictation until the next billing period.
