Streamers can set up a donation link once and receive on-chain payments with OBS alerts, voice message add-ons, and interactive collection goals. Is this actually legal?
Yes. Crypto transactions are handled on-chain through the donation flow. Wallet payments use the viewer's wallet; QR or exchange payments use a temporary address and worker sweep before settlement. Tax reporting is the recipient's responsibility, same as any other income.
Which crypto donations can I accept?
Oxygen currently supports USDT and USDC on BNB Chain and Base, BNB on BNB Chain, ETH on Base, and USDT on TRON. Available options depend on the streamer's settings, and more networks, tokens, and payment methods may be added later.
What about TTS (voiced messages)?
Voice messages are available as an add-on priced per selected voice. If the voiceover fails for technical reasons, the amount paid for it is automatically refunded; the donation itself still reaches the streamer in full.
What if a Twitch viewer does not understand crypto?
They open the donation link and choose a path: wallet, QR payment, or exchange transfer. Oxygen shows the network, token, and amount; after the payment, the alert appears in OBS.
How do collections work?
A streamer opens a goal ("New PC — $1000"), and viewers donate into that goal through the Oxygen payment flow. Progress updates live on the donation page and in the OBS widget.
