It reads a finished or in-progress manuscript, finds contradictions across chapters by comparing passages, and suggests characters, places, and world rules that writers can approve to build their story bible. The tool includes analysis features for pacing, dialogue, prose style, and character voice. It also offers a manuscript editor with chapters, outlines, and a manuscript-aware copilot. Writers keep full control of their prose and can decide what changes to make based on Novilot's findings.

Do you train AI models on my manuscript?
No. Your writing is never used to train any model, ours or anyone else's. When you use an AI feature, the relevant part is sent to Anthropic's API to run that feature, but it is not sent anywhere else for training or sold.
What happens when I run out of free credits?
New AI work pauses when your welcome credits run out, because free credits do not refill. Your manuscripts stay in your account and you can keep writing, editing, and reading saved results. You can subscribe to Writer or buy a Revision Pack to continue using AI. There are no automatic top-ups or overage charges.
Can I buy a Revision Pack without subscribing to Writer?
Yes. You can sign in to a Free account and buy 40 extra AI credits for a one-time payment of $9. You do not need a Writer subscription. Your account stays on Free with its existing project allowance and the same core AI tools.
How long can my manuscript be?
There is no fixed manuscript word limit. A Continuity Guardian scan costs credits based on how many words it reads, so what you can scan depends on your credit balance. Every result states exactly how many words were scanned. Longer books can be imported and the scan reports what it covered.
Can I use Novilot for free?
Yes. New Free accounts include one personal project plus the examples and 30 welcome AI credits, provided once with no expiry or monthly refill. No credit card is required. You can import your manuscript, write and organize chapters, and try Guardian, Story Bible, and analysis within that allowance.
