Shopper questions

Is MacCam really free?

Yes, every feature available in MacCam stays free forever.

What do I get with the lifetime license?

The first 100,000 users get MacCam Pro for life, including the Teleprompter and Knock to Capture features, plus every future Pro feature as it ships. Confirm your email in the app or on the website to activate it.

Where are my photos saved?

Every photo and video is saved in your Photos library in the Camera album. With iCloud Photos enabled, they sync automatically to your iPhone and iPad.

What data does MacCam collect?

MacCam does not store your photos, which never leave your Mac. The app uses anonymous usage statistics through TelemetryDeck, which you can disable in Settings. Your email is only stored if you claim a license. Knock to Capture uses microphone listening for knock detection but stores nothing.

How do updates work?

MacCam checks daily and updates itself with one click.
