Unlike typical game trackers that overwrite your history, Firetale keeps every playthrough separately, so replaying a game adds to your record rather than erasing it.

The platform includes a catalogue of over 110,000 games and supports importing your gaming history from Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Backloggd, Infinite Backlog, and HowLongToBeat. You can create various types of lists including ranked orders, tier lists, and Game of the Year ballots, and browse public lists and reviews without needing an account.

Firetale emphasizes community and discovery. Your logs and reviews become posts that others can reply to and discuss. The platform's Gamer DNA feature analyzes your ratings to build a taste profile and suggests players whose gaming preferences align with yours, complete with explanations of why. Can I track multiple playthroughs?

Yes. Each replay is stored as its own play session with its own date and platform, so replaying something doesn't wipe the original log.

Where can I import my game library from?

You can sign in with Steam or enter your public PlayStation, Xbox or GOG username. For Backloggd, you can upload a Toolkittd JSON export for detailed play history or a CSV with fewer details. HowLongToBeat and Infinite Backlog use CSV exports. Firetale shows matched games for review before saving them.

Can I browse Firetale without an account?

Yes. Games, public lists, reviews and the release calendar are all readable before you sign up. You only need an account to log and post.
