FasterDM is a comment-to-DM automation tool for Instagram that sends direct messages to users who comment on your posts and reels. Set up campaigns by selecting a post, choosing an optional keyword trigger, and writing your message in minutes. The service can send a private DM and post a public comment reply simultaneously. It operates entirely through the official Instagram Graph API with Meta business verification, requires no password sharing, and automatically pauses campaigns if rate-limited. Features include duplicate protection so users receive only one message per campaign, automatic opt-outs for users who reply "stop", lead tracking and CSV export, and campaign controls for managing multiple Instagram accounts.

What it does

  • Keyword triggers - send DM on every comment or only when comment contains a chosen keyword
  • DM plus public reply - send private DM and public comment reply simultaneously
  • One DM per person - duplicate protection prevents duplicate messages to same user per campaign
  • Leads export - track and export all commenters as CSV
  • Automatic opt-outs - users replying 'stop' are never messaged again
  • Campaign controls - enable, pause, or delete automations per account
  • Official Instagram API - uses Meta-verified official API connection
  • Rate limit protection - campaigns pause automatically if Meta rate-limits account
  • No password sharing - connects through API permissions without requesting password
  • Data control - disconnect any account anytime and automatic data deletion

Shopper questions

Is automating Instagram DMs allowed?

Yes, when done through the official Instagram API. FasterDM uses the Instagram Graph API with permissions you explicitly approve and only messages people who commented on your post first.

Do I need an Instagram Professional account?

Yes, the Instagram API only supports Business and Creator accounts, and the account must be linked to a Facebook Page. Switching is free and takes about a minute in the Instagram app.

Will this get my account banned?

FasterDM uses only approved API endpoints and never requests your password. Campaigns pause automatically if Meta rate-limits your account, each commenter is messaged once per campaign, and anyone who replies "stop" is never messaged again.

How fast is the DM sent after someone comments?

Usually within a few seconds. Instagram notifies FasterDM the moment a comment is posted, and the DM goes out as soon as it matches one of your active campaigns.

What happens to my data if I disconnect?

You can disconnect an account at any time from the dashboard. The app automatically deactivates the connection, deletes the stored access tokens, and removes commenter data when you remove the app from your Instagram or Facebook settings.
