Transglot is a translation and localization platform that automates the process of translating product strings into multiple languages. The platform uses AI to draft translations through two models—Glossa Flux for fast, automatic drafting on every push, and Glossa Deep for careful review of critical customer-facing strings. Every translation passes through four automatic quality gates checking placeholders, plurals, glossary terms, and length before deployment.

The platform integrates with 41 tools including GitHub, GitLab, Shopify, and WooCommerce, supporting 20 file formats natively. Teams can edit translations in context on their running app without releases, manage terminology through enforced glossaries, and deliver fixes over-the-air. Translation memory reuses previously approved strings at no cost, and the platform includes CLI, REST API, GitHub Actions, and MCP server tools for automation.

Shopper questions

What is Transglot?

Transglot is software that translates your app or website into every language you sell in. It finds strings in your code or CMS, writes them in each language, checks every one against four automatic quality checks, and puts them back where they came from as a pull request, a CMS write-back, or a bundle your app fetches.

Who is Transglot for?

Product and engineering teams that ship in more than one language, including apps, websites, storefronts, games and documentation. If your product has a strings file behind it, Transglot replaces the spreadsheet and the agency round trip.

How many languages does Transglot support?

Transglot supports any language tag ICU recognises, which is 708 locales in the current table, with proper plural handling from the 224 CLDR plural languages rather than a fixed language list.

Is Transglot free for open source projects?

Yes. A project under an OSI approved licence with a public repository can apply for a granted plan carrying the Team feature set at no cost. The application is reviewed by hand and never appears at checkout.

How does the AI translation actually work?

Every string goes through Glossa Flux the moment the English changes: all your languages at once, with your glossary, your past approved translations and the screen the string renders on already in hand. The strings your brand lives on can go through Glossa Deep, the careful pass. Both end at the same four checks.
