Yes. The free plan includes unlimited songs and unlimited sets with no trial period or expiration. The paid plans add additional features rather than removing artificial limits from the library.
Can I bring my existing library over?
Yes. Songstead can import songs from text files, ZIP archives, SongbookPro exports, and OnSong exports. The importer walks you through the process.
How is this different from OnSong?
OnSong is limited to Apple devices only and is built for power users with a steeper learning curve. Songstead runs on any device your band already has and stays organized around songs, sets, and groups. OnSong offers more MIDI automation if you need that depth.
How is this different from SongbookPro?
SongbookPro requires separate purchases for each platform, caps the free tier at 12 songs, and requires manual setup of Dropbox or OneDrive syncing. Songstead uses one account across all devices, has automatic syncing, and does not limit library size on the free plan.
