Shopper questions
What is the built-in songbook and how does it work?
Rep Jam Gig includes a built-in songbook of 2,545 jazz standards. When you add a song by typing its title in Repertoire, the app offers matches as you type and automatically fills in the composer, lyricist, and year for that song.
What chart formats does the app support?
Rep Jam Gig supports PDF files, photos (JPEG, PNG or HEIC), scans created with the camera, and MusicXML scores exported from notation software like MuseScore, Sibelius, Finale or Dorico. MusicXML charts open as notation and can play in your chosen key at your tempo.
What data does the app collect?
Rep Jam Gig collects no personal data. The app asks for no permissions on Android and only the camera permission on iOS, which is only used when you choose to scan a chart. All data stays on your device or in your iCloud account.
