PixelBeads
Convert photos into printable bead patterns, pixel art grids, and Minecraft block plans
Free online tool to convert photos into printable perler bead patterns with color codes and bead counts, plus pixel art and Minecraft grid makers.
About this launch

PixelBeads is a free online studio for makers to convert photos into printable grids for fuse beads, Perler beads, Hama beads, and Minecraft-style block plans. The tool processes images to produce bead patterns with optimized colors, clear symbols, and exact bead counts, then exports printable PNG and PDF sheets. Users can also create pixel art grids or draw from blank templates. Sign-in is optional; users can save patterns to My works in the cloud or work without an account. The site includes guides on ironing, palettes, and build techniques, plus a moderated community gallery called Plaza where makers can share and download patterns.

Shopper questions
Is PixelBeads free to use?
Yes. PixelBeads is free to use with no sign-up required for the tools. Sign in optionally with Google or email to save patterns to My works in the cloud.
What grid sizes are available?
You can choose any grid from 20×20 to 128×128. Beginners often start with 32×32 or 64×64 because they are easier to build and finish faster.
What image formats are supported?
You can choose JPG, PNG, and WebP images from your device. For best results, use a clear photo with good contrast and simple shapes.
Which bead palettes are supported?
PixelBeads supports MARD and COCO bead palettes. Choose the palette that matches the beads you own before converting so the color codes in your pattern match your supplies.
Are photos stored permanently on your servers?
For routine conversion, images are processed only to generate your pattern and are not permanently stored. If you sign in and save to My works, we store files you choose to keep so you can reopen them; you can delete them anytime.
