Pixal3D is an image-to-3D generation workspace that converts single photographs into textured 3D assets in GLB format. The service uses pixel-aligned reconstruction to preserve silhouette, surface detail, and viewpoint from the source image as it creates 3D geometry.

Users upload a reference image and choose between the Pixal3D lane for pixel-faithful results or Trellis 2 as an alternative reconstruction. Generation costs credits; new accounts receive 5 free image credits, with default Pixal3D jobs costing 220 credits each. Before paying, users can inspect results in the browser and adjust output settings.

The workspace includes free browser-based tools for GLB inspection, format conversion (between GLB, OBJ, and STL), texture checking, model scaling, and source image preparation. These tools run locally and never consume credits. Pixal3D also offers text-to-motion generation through Hunyuan Motion and supports team handoff with downloadable GLB files ready for import into 3D software like Blender, Unity, or Unreal.

Shopper questions

What can I generate on Pixal3D?

You can upload one image to generate a textured GLB with Pixal3D or Trellis 2. Hunyuan Motion turns a text prompt into motion files with FBX and JSON downloads. Results should be inspected before use, as a single image cannot establish the hidden side of an object.

How much does a default Pixal3D job cost?

A default Pixal3D job costs 220 credits, while a default Trellis 2 job costs 160 credits. Higher settings can increase the cost. The price is shown before you submit the job.

Are the Pixal3D browser tools free?

Yes. GLB inspection, texture sizing, format conversion, and other local browser tools run entirely inside your browser without uploading files or consuming your Pixal3D credit balance.

How is Pixal3D different from Meshy or Rodin?

Meshy and Rodin sell monthly subscription allowances, while Pixal3D gives 5 one-time signup credits and prices each 3D job individually. A default Pixal3D job costs 220 credits and Trellis 2 costs 160 credits, with the cost shown before submission. Output includes a textured GLB plus free in-browser inspection and conversion tools.

What happens if a Pixal3D job fails?

A run that failed on the service side is reviewed for a credit refund under the Refund Policy. A run that successfully delivered a GLB consumes its credits. If the result looks incomplete, the usual cause is the source image; a single photo cannot establish the hidden side of an object, so try again with a sharper, evenly lit image.
