Press a button and a giveaway, poll, hype effect, lower third, or sponsor overlay appears on screen instantly. You add a single overlay URL to OBS once as a Browser Source, and everything you trigger from the control deck—effects, giveaways, polls, overlays—renders through that one source in real time. The platform works with OBS, Streamlabs, and compatible streaming software, and lets viewers join giveaways via QR code or short link without needing an account. It complements existing tools like StreamElements and Streamlabs rather than replacing them.

What is Kloot?

How do I set up Kloot in OBS?
Add a new Browser Source in OBS or Streamlabs, paste your permanent Kloot overlay URL, and size it to your canvas. That is all the setup required—every tool you fire from the control deck flows through that single source.
Is Kloot real-time? What about latency?
Yes, Kloot uses a persistent WebSocket connection between your control deck and overlay, so when you press a button the effect appears near-instantly—typically well under a second.
Do viewers need an account to join giveaways?
No account, no app, and no download required for viewers. They scan a QR code or type a short join code to enter a giveaway and vote in polls from their phone browser.
Do I need OBS?
You need streaming software that takes a browser source, such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop. Kloot adds one Browser source; the deck you press runs in your browser or on your phone.
