Hue & Shape
Face shape, symmetry and color analysis tools that run in your browser
Free tools to measure face shape, color season, symmetry and undertone from a photo, with analysis running locally on your device and no image upload.
About this launch
Hue & Shape provides free online tools that analyze your face shape, color season, symmetry and undertone from a selfie. All measurements run in your browser using a landmark model served from the site, so photos never leave your device. The face shape detector measures your forehead, cheekbones, jaw and face length to name your shape from seven options and draws the measurement lines on your photo. The color analysis samples your skin, eyes and hair and asks seven questions to determine your color season from twelve palettes. Free results require no account, but you can save your measurements by signing in. Paid reports add styling guidance: the face report ($9.99) includes hairstyles, glasses, brows and beards for your measured shape; the color report ($12.99) provides the full palette and colors to avoid; or buy both together for $17.99. All reports are one-time payments with no subscription, come as PDFs to keep, and offer refunds within 14 days.

Shopper questions
Is the face analysis really free?
Yes. The face shape result, the symmetry reading, the color season and the palettes are free, with no account required. The paid reports add detail and a PDF.
Does the photo get uploaded?
No. The analysis runs in your browser and the image is never sent to a server. The only thing that can be saved is the measurements, and only if you ask.
Do I need an account?
No. You can get a free result and buy a report without one. An account keeps your results and reports on every device you sign in on.
Which tool should I start with?
Start with the face shape detector. It takes one photo, gives you the shape and the measurement lines, and links to the hairstyle, glasses, brow and beard pages written for that shape. The color analysis is a separate photo and a short quiz.
Is this medical or cosmetic advice?
No. This site measures proportions and describes color. It does not diagnose, treat or recommend procedures. If you have a concern about your skin or your health, see a clinician.
