Ellie Docs
Help docs that write themselves from your code
Ellie Docs drafts your help centre from your code with real screenshots of your app, keeps articles accurate as you ship, and writes your changelog.
About this launch

Ellie Docs connects to your GitHub repository and automatically drafts a help centre from your code with real screenshots of your app. It monitors each merged pull request and flags articles that become outdated, drafting fixes when needed. The product publishes an API reference even without an OpenAPI spec, and generates a changelog from your merged commits. Every claim in your docs links back to the code it came from. You can import existing documentation from other tools and manage everything through an editor, or delegate changes to Ellie via chat. Nothing publishes without your approval.

Shopper questions
Do I need GitHub to sign up?
No. You can sign up with Google, Microsoft or email, and connect your repository when you are at your laptop.
What do I get on the free plan?
You get a full first draft of your help centre, live on yourname.elliedocs.com with AI answers and a changelog page. It stays up as long as you like.
Can it publish something wrong?
Not by itself. Ellie drafts and you publish. Drafts are checked against the code first, and changelog entries for unreleased work are held back.
Can I move from another tool?
Yes. You can point Ellie at your current help centre and every article comes across as a draft, ready to keep, improve or replace.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You get 14 days of Growth free, then choose a plan or stay on Free. Nothing is deleted if you don't upgrade.
