Dupes is a macOS desktop application designed for DJ library management. It scans your Serato DJ library to identify and remove duplicate tracks while preserving your music files. The app compares track metadata across 10 different parameters including title, artist, filename, BPM, bitrate, time, size, album, comment, and file type, allowing you to customize matching criteria from strict to loose.
The tool runs entirely locally on your Mac with no cloud uploads or exports required. It reads your Serato database directly and automatically updates your library and crate references when duplicates are resolved. Duplicate files can be moved to an archive folder you specify or sent to the system Trash, giving you control over file management.
